BIO

Hello. My name is Ernest Wright, and I am a neurosurgeon, specialized in minimally-invasive and robotic surgery. I use small incisions to approach problem areas in the brain or spine, instead of a traditional open incision. That means that patients are usually able to go home sooner, recover quicker, and with less pain.

I went to medical school at Yale School of Medicine, graduating with honors. I completed my neurosurgical training at the world-renowned Barrow Neurological Institute under Dr. Robert Spetzler, as well as a fellowship in complex brain tumor surgery at Queen Square Hospital in the United Kingdom.

My academic interest includes training neurosurgeons in developing countries, including Uganda, Tanzania, Cambodia and Myanmar.
